Half the name, all of the heart: Rex is the squad's dog, and he's with Rook from the very first room of every run.
What Rex does
Rex runs just behind Rook. When a Redlens gets too close, Rex pounces on it and stuns it for a moment, which buys you time to line up your shots. He can't be hurt, so he never needs looking after.
Rex's cards
Level-ups can make Rex better:
- Rex Long Pounce: he pounces on enemies further away, and more often.
- Rex Power Pounce: his stun lasts longer, and enemies near where he lands are slowed down too.
- Rex Medkit: once per Area, when you drop below half health, Rex fetches a Medkit.
Tip
Rex goes for the nearest threat. Keep moving to dodge, and let him deal with whoever rushes you.
